I've taken up reading Psalms to Faith (at the encouragement of a friend). It does seems to help calm me. Besides reading to her today, I've sang to her. She has not responded to my voice so far today. Maybe she's still sleepy.
Here are a few verses that jumped out at me while I read.
"Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession." (Ps 2:8)
"But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill." (Ps 3:3-4)
"I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." (Ps 4:8)
"Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice, in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation." (Ps 5:1-3)
I'm still praying for my miracle...
Thanks for checking in.
