A little update...
Thursday - Brought Lucas for his Polio/DTP vaccination. I'm so proud of my little boy, he didn't cry when he was jabbed! He only cried when the paediatrician tried to retrieve the torchlight from his grubby little hands. Went to Audio House for a walk, and had lunch at Clarke Quay. It felt good to be outdoors.
Friday - It's a holiday! Thank God for that. I really needed some time with my family. ET and I brought Lucas to the beach. We spent the afternoon soaking in the sun and swimming. We are totally sunburnt! I was so glad for the sun, because it made me extremely tired. I slept the entire night.
Saturday - My review at the hospital. Doctor's given me the all clear. I'm really thankful for ET. He knows exactly when I'm going into my own "zone" again and he always makes me snap out of it. This morning at the hospital's waiting room, we were surrounded by heavily pregnant women, and I zoned out again. In the doctor's room I gazed at all the baby photographs on the wall and zoned out.
It's exactly 2 weeks. Finishing my doctor's appointment marks another step closing this chapter of my life. The final step would be the "memorial" this coming Tuesday.
I'm not sure how long this "saturday mood" will affect me. Today and the last saturday I've been moping around, or feeling really dazed.
(I'm not really in the mood to blog right now...I'll update again when I can.)
Keep me in prayers.
