Having contractions for the first time

ET and I are in the hospital now. We started inducing about 5.30pm this evening. Second dose of medication was administered at 8.30pm (it's now 10pm). Since then, the contractions have gotten stronger and its radiating to the back. It's still manageable but I don't think I'll be able to stand the pain after the 3rd dose (11.30pm).

So far my parents have come to see me. ET is staying over with me. My girlfriend is coming over later...A couple of friends from church may be popping by soon. I hope they come real soon...when the pain gets unbearable I'll be given painkillers and it will make me drowsy.

It isn't a party, but having some close friends around does keep my spirits up.

I need to lie down now. My back is really aching badly. I'll update again.
