7 Years

Today is the 7th anniversary for me and ET...7 years since we first met. Time really flies! Almost 3 months since Faith went home to the Lord. I still miss her so much, but thankfully work keeps me busy and looking forward.

On the up note, ET & I have started a band! We had our very first practice last Saturday, and I absolutely loved it! I was really thankful that some members were able to take the lead and say what to do and how to do it, because I was absolutely clueless going about it. I only knew I wanted it to work. I'm hoping this goes somewhere cos it would be really helpful in terms of supplementary income and also in terms of bringing our music career somewhere further than the bathroom!

Lucas is going to turn 2 this April! He's really growing fast, forming sentences, learning new dance moves/songs, being the little smart-ass that he always is. I wonder sometimes if Faith would have taken after his character.

My life seems to be getting back into track after the last couple of months now, the feeling is good, yet at the same time it is bittersweet. I'm glad Faith came into my life (all 5 months of it). She really really changed my outlook on my own life. At times I still ask the "why" question, but I mostly leave it unanswered. The little grey cloud appears less. My grieving is almost over (although I suspect it will never be fully gone).
